When David Bowie Met Tilda Swinton

Apparently there is a belief held by some people that rock 'n' roll icon David Bowie and screen icon Tilda Swinton are the same person. At least this tumblr believes so. This thought never entered my head before today, but now that I think about, this belief is not that ridiculous.

This is David Bowie, the singer behind
the songs "Heroes", "Life on Mars"
and "Under Pressure"
This is Tilda Swinton, the actor featured in the Narnia films,
The Deep End, Orlando, and Moonrise Kingdom.
David Bowie's highly anticipated album (and potentially permanent-ear candy)--his first in a decade--arrives on March 9. The first single and music video was released on his birthday. As if that wasn't enough to keep fans on their toes, there is now a second single and music video, released today. The track, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)", has a more radio-friendly tempo than "Where Are We Now."
The music video, shot as a surreal, thriller-esque short film by director Floria Sigismondi (who has directed some very beautiful videos for The White Stripes,  Interpol, Incubus, Christina Aguilera, and numerous others), follows a middle-aged and gorgeous-looking couple (Bowie and Swinton. Seriously, time has been incredibly kind to both.) as they are followed and stalked by a celebrity couple. Bowie, a very private person, takes a look at how celebrity culture takes "regular" people's lives hostage, as evidenced in the video.
